What do I need to know before installing Skeppy?
You need to install Skeppie and configure it on a machine that is running Linux or an OS that is based on Linux or OS X. How do I install Skeppy and configure?
You’ll need to download Skeppish for your system and open a terminal window and type the following command to install the package: sudo apt-get install skeppish You’ll also need to create a symbolic link to Skeppys home directory: cd /usr/local/etc/sudoers sudo ln -s /usr/./skeppish/install/install.sh ./install.bash You’ll now need to run the following commands to create the Skeppic installation: mkdir -p ~/.config/skelppic mkdir ~/Skeppic cd ~/Skelppico.sh make install Now, when you launch Skeppi, you’ll see the Skeppy installation screen.
The next step is to install all the software needed to manage DNS and the Skepper DNS servers, including the DNS servers themselves.
