By now, most of you know how to use Discord, a free-to-use social network app built for group chat and video chatting.
The app has thousands of communities, and it lets you use your phone as a chat box to discuss any topic, including politics, movies, sports, or whatever.
But it also allows users to create their own chatrooms and groups.
Discord has a dedicated server template, and there’s one for each of those types of community: one for political activists, another for gamers, and so on.
In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through creating a discord server for your specific needs, so you can use the app and create a chat room for yourself.
We’ll also walk you step-by-step through how to add the server template to your Discord client.
Create a Discord account 1.1.
Register with Discord When you sign up for an account on Discord, you’ll need to provide your name, your Discord username, and a Discord password.
