If you’re a Discord user who is looking for a server that will allow you to easily create your own custom chat channel and chatrooms, there are plenty of sites out there.
You could even create a server with an external IRC client like OpenIV or Discord Server Template.
However, the only thing you really need to do to make this happen is create a new Discord server template.
You’ll need the server name and channel ID, the server’s IP address and port, and a Discord server config file.
The config file is pretty self-explanatory, and is located in your Discord server’s root folder.
If you want to know more about config files, check out our previous article about config file management.
If not, you can use our guide on how to create a Discord template.
Now that you’ve got all of that, you’re ready to create your server.
First, you’ll need to create the config file for your Discord account.
To do this, navigate to your Discord dashboard and go to your server’s settings.
This is the most important part of the process.
This file will hold the information you need to set up your server, and will be a file you’ll be able to access via your Discord browser.
For this guide, we’ll assume you’re creating a new account for the purposes of this article.
Once you’ve created your new Discord config file, you need it to access your server settings.
Here’s the information we’ll need: Your Discord server name, which should be something unique to you.
If it’s a name like “Cody,” for example, you could just name it Cody.
You can also set your Discord name and server ID in your config file if you want.
For example, in the example below, I’ve set my Discord name to Cody.
If the config files you’ve already created for your server don’t have your name in them, you should use one of the following options.
If your server doesn’t have a name in it, create one.
If this is your first time creating a Discord account, you might not know what Discord stands for.
You need to use this guide to create one so you know what it stands for, so you can set up the settings correctly.
When you’re finished, open your config editor and make sure you’re inside the section labeled “Config files.”
Click the “Save” button.
You should now be able open the config editor with your new config file as the template, and you can navigate to the settings section of the config to edit the server settings you’ve just created.
If everything is set up correctly, your new server will look like this: You can then click the “Start” button to open the server in your browser.
Your server will be ready to play!
