By default, all Kodi, Chrome and Firefox installs use proxies to block traffic.
The Kodi team has announced a new Free Proxy server to remove this blocking functionality.
The Kodi team is already rolling out the Free Proxy Service and it is available in the official repository.
The Free Proxy is a lightweight proxy that allows you to use a single IP address to access multiple Kodi instances.
The Free Proxy does not block access to content or allow Kodi to use network features, so it should be a good option for most Kodi installs.
If you’re using an older Kodi version or want to use it for a different purpose, you can use the Kodi team’s older proxy server to do that.
You can try out the free proxy by downloading the official Kodi proxy server.
You might need to set your DNS settings to use the IP address that Kodi will use to connect to.
You can find more information about this here: https://kodi.tv/support/configuration/settings/dns_settings.php?service=proxy_free_proxy&address=127.0.0:24.0&method=web
